With school starting, I really need ideas to feed my kids healthy food they can take to school with them. I’d love to hear about your ideas, there are never enough of them.
Here is one of mine:
Last night we made a Cheese and Swiss Chard Lasagna (enough for 2 meals-#smartmealplanning.) I always make too much pasta when I prepare my lasagna. So I had an idea. I rolled up a piece of ham and a piece of cheese in ½ a lasagna sheet, a tooth pick to hold it closed and it becomes finger food. Some tomato sauce on the side for dipping. A fruit. There is a perfect lunch for my kids. Took me less than 5 minutes.
