Prepare your lunches the night before school (or have them pack their own lunch if they\u2019re old enough) so you aren\u2019t scrambling to find a nutritious meal to send them to school with as you usher them out the door. Even if your child is attending school remotely from home, it\u2019s still a good idea to pack their lunch as if they were eating at school. The practice will keep your day on track and will ensure you\u2019re not scrambling come lunchtime.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

5.\u00a0 \u00a0Make time for rest and fun activities<\/strong>. <\/strong><\/strong>All work and no play\u2026 you know the rest. Don\u2019t forget to enjoy life and reward yourself when you deserve it. Successes need to be celebrated and by having balance in life makes it easier and more enjoyable to maintain a successful routine.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

6.\u00a0 \u00a0Use the power of repetition.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>There is nothing like repetition to get good at something. To master something, you\u2019ll have to experiment and repeat, just as the Wright Brothers did, time and again, before getting that first flight.\u00a0 And remember that there has to be a bit of a \u201cstretch\u201d to improve each time\u2014even if simply doing it today is the stretch you make. If something is important to you, make a commitment to repeatedly spend time on it\u2014every day, every week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

7.\u00a0 \u00a0Schedule regular appointments with your favorite holistic health care professional. \u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>A balanced and well-functioning body and mind will improve your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.\u00a0 Some self-care is good for everyone, (remember #5 and 6 above) and as you feel better you will more easily create your power routine.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
